Felix was found in August 2006 in a 1961 Thunderbird hiding in the passenger quarter panel. His twin sister had her leg caught up in old carpeting nylon and was put to sleep because she had contracted gangrene and the leg had died anyway.

Felix with his two black haired siblings Cruiso and Mattie snoozing. I found both of them in the transmission tunnel of a 1961 Thunderbird hiding on top of the tranmission hence the names Cruiso and Mattie (cruisomatic). I had to practically remove the transmission to get them out. Talk about dirty little kitties. They now live with my mom.

Another funny shot of Felix. Today Felix is about 10 months old, much bigger and the terror of the household.

Deja was found October 13, 2006, the day Explodie the cat died. We found her down the street from the shop in front of Smart and Final. We call her Deja because she is the spitting image of Explodie. Weird!

This is Explodie the cat. She died of kidney failure on October 13, 2006. I found her at the shop in early 1994. Actually she found me and it was love at first sight. She was my first shop cat and I had her for 13 years. She was the boss and oldest of all my 5 cats.

This is Casper the friendly cat. He is the only cat that I didnt find at the shop. He was given to me by my friend Julie around 1995. He is an old geezer now and the oldest one of my 5 since Explidie died. He loves to snooze on the cat tower.

Casper on the cat tower wearing shreaded carpet nylon. "...and you can make a hat!" Hes a little camera shy.

This is Bootsie. I found her in a 1964 Thunderbird rear floor board in October 2003. I opened the door looking for some parts and out jumped the mom and crawling on the floor like a little rat was Bootsie. She doesnt like strangers so watch out!

This is Grey. She is our only ferril cat that was captured inside the shop. She hates everyone and everything except the babies Felix and Deja which she mothers like they were her own. She kept coming inside the shop and would not leave. She would hide and stay inside at night and set off the alarm so I had to catch her and so we kept her. You need infinate patience with a ferril cat. Sometimes we can sneak up to her while she is sleeping and too lazy to run away so we do get to pet her on rare occasions.

Felix kitty paw.

Felix kitty face.

This is Felix and Deja. They love each other and are like bro and sis. They terrorize the other cats and us too. Its a hoot to watch them lock arms and roll around on the floor and play. Casper, Bootsie and Grey are allowed outside during the day but not these babies. Only recently have we been letting them out on a limited basis to get them trained. Grey watches them like a hawk when we let them out. I just dont believe in keeping them caged up all their life. By mid-summer time we will let them all out during the day and back in at night.

This is Pike Peabody the Possum. We found him at the shop with hypothermia and flea bite anemia. His mother must have dropped him while fighting with the yard cats?? Were not sure. Anyway, we took him and nursed him back to health. That was fun and interesting. They are not domestic pets obviously and pretty weird animals. He was very cute and we fell in love with him. However, we knew he needed to go back to the wild when ready so we gave him to the Malibu Wildlife Center and Rescue and they will release him back to the wild when he is an adult.

This is Pikes front paw. Pretty weird, almost looks like human fingers. His back paws look like monkeys paws with an offset thumb. We fed him "Peters Food" which is a mixture of cat food, baby formula, pedialite, and other stuff. We had him in a small cage with a heating blanket and a little house which he stayed in. He would always open his mouth when we went to pick him up. He never bit us but it was cute. He would curl up with a small sock we had in his house.

Isnt he cute? It took constant care to keep him alive. We had to force feed him water and food at first. However, once we found out he had flea bite anemia and got thatfixed he started to perk up and feed on his own. We actualy had to bottle feed him formula most of the time we had him but he did eat the Peters food, apple sauce and other stuff we gave him on his own.

This is Stinky the dog. This mutt belongs to Jeff our parts manager. Stinky is a great dog and very friendly. Here he is relaxing next to the hoist with not a care in the world. Why he has his tongue sticking out is a mystery to everyone. You always knew when it was lunch time when Stinky was around.
